The rest of the police officers and some constables entered Neetu Kumari’s house. The scene inside was very scary. Not one or two but five bodies were found here.
Constable Neetu’s body was in the worst condition. There were marks of brutal attack on the head, face and other parts of the body. The blood had congealed. Beside him were the bodies of two children and Neetu’s mother-in-law. His throat was cut with a knife. There was blood on the floor. As if a blood holi had been played here. When the police went to the next room, they found Neetu’s husband’s body hanging there.

Police have seized the suicide note. All the bodies were sent for post-mortem. It was clear from the suicide note that Neetu had killed her children and mother-in-law earlier. After which Neetu’s husband killed her and ended her life by hanging herself from a fan. Constable Neetu Kumari’s illicit relationship with someone was also found written in the suicide note. The milkman was the first to know
DIG Vivekanand said that 2015 batch constable Neetu Kumari’s house was locked from inside. In the morning, the milkman came and when the door was not opened, the neighbors pushed open the door, where five dead bodies were found with their throats cut. Neetu’s husband’s body was found hanging there.
A bloody end to a love marriage
When the people around were questioned, many shocking things came to light. People said that Neetu’s husband Pankaj was unemployed. Whereas, Neetu used to earn the house. There were frequent quarrels between husband and wife. Neetu was originally from Buxar. He was transferred to Bhagalpur. Hence she lived here with her family. Of course, Neetu-Pankaj had a love marriage, but for some time now, the two started having daily fights. Pankaj suspected that Neetu was having an affair with an outside man.
