A shocking incident has come to light in Dumka of Jharkhand. Here a mother poisoned her own daughter and then committed suicide by consuming the poison. The woman committed this heartbreaking incident due to a domestic dispute. This incident of Hansdiha in Dumka district is heart-wrenching. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of both the bodies and conducted the post-mortem. At present, the police have taken the woman’s husband into custody and are investigating the matter.
According to police, Albunius Murmu, a resident of Dhankutta village in Hansdiha police station area, lives in Himachal Pradesh for livelihood. He had come to the village on leave for the past one month. He was scheduled to return on July 20. Meanwhile, he had a quarrel with his wife Surajmuni. Surajmuni wanted to take her daughter with her and stay with her husband in Himachal Pradesh. While Albunius was not ready for this. It is being told that there was a big fight between the two over the matter late on Saturday night.
First the daughter was given insecticide
After this fight, Surajmuni made her two-year-old innocent daughter drink insecticide in anger. After this he drank the rest of the pesticide himself. Both mother and daughter died on the spot in this incident. On getting the information, the surrounding people reached the spot and informed the police. After this, the village police took possession of both the bodies and sent them for postmortem. The police have taken the woman’s husband into custody and started questioning.

According to the police, the people of the village have also been questioned regarding this incident. Let us tell you that this is not the first case where family members have taken the step of suicide after a domestic dispute in Jharkhand. Earlier in Kumhar Sai village of Saraikela district, a woman jumped into a well with her three innocent children after a quarrel with her husband. In that incident, the villagers rescued the woman, but the three children drowned.
