A shocking case has come to light from Kolhapur in Maharashtra. A stepmother severely beat and injured her five-year-old daughter for snoring. There were also deep injury marks on the victim’s body during the beating. When the daughter’s father came home, he cried seeing the injury marks on the daughter’s body. The daughter was taken to the hospital for treatment. A police complaint has been filed against the woman.

Mother used to beat daughter for snoring
Shubham Mokindrao, who lives in Shahpur Dhandegaon, Jalna, lives in Kasarwadi. He is married to a woman named Pooja. He lives in a rented house with his two children from his first wife. Shubham had gone out on business. His wife Pooja Magre was at home with their five-year-old daughter at the time. Pooja gets very angry when the girl starts snoring while sleeping on the bed. In a fit of rage, he injured a five-year-old girl by hitting her cheeks, lips, mouth, neck and private parts with a hot iron rod. The incident took place around 12 noon on Friday.

When Shubham Magare came home, immediately the girl came forward, he saw injury marks all over her body. He was crying loudly and got angry when he came to know that his wife Pooja had committed a very reprehensible act. Seeing the condition of the five-year-old girl brought tears to her eyes.
A case was filed against the mother
Wiping his tears, he reached a private hospital to treat the baby girl. The girl was treated at the hospital. After this he went straight to the police station. Shubham registered a case against his wife Pooja Magare at the Shiroli MIDC police station. After this, the police arrested Pooja Magre. This is the second marriage of both Shubham and Pooja. Both have children from previous marriages.
