Pune Metro News: A shocking incident has emerged from Pune. A passenger has died in an accident at a Pune Metro station, reportedly involving an escalator. The incident occurred at the District Court Metro Station, resulting in the death of a 40-year-old man. Police are now investigating the incident through CCTV footage.

The accident happened on Monday evening at the District Court Metro Station in Pune. The passenger fell from the escalator and was immediately rushed to the hospital but unfortunately passed away before reaching. The deceased has been identified as Manoj Kumar, aged 40.

Manoj Kumar was on the escalator around 6:30 PM when (Pune News) he suddenly fell. Security personnel at the station witnessed the incident and promptly took him to the metro station’s medical room. Despite receiving immediate first aid from the doctors there, Kumar’s condition was critical, leading to the decision to transfer him to a hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries before arriving at the hospital.

Metro authorities informed the Shivajinagar police about the incident. The police have sent Manoj Kumar’s body to Sassoon Hospital for a post-mortem examination. While the exact cause of death is still unknown, it will be clarified after the autopsy. Meanwhile, police are investigating how Kumar fell from the escalator, and they will review the station’s CCTV footage as part of the investigation.
