Police have busted a prostitution ring in Ghaziabad, adjacent to the national capital Delhi. This dirty work was going on in a PG hostel in Sahibabad of the district. The police have detained 4 people including the hostel manager. Four women have been rescued from the hostel. Here, in the name of giving jobs to women, they were pushed into this dirty business.
Informing about the raid, the police said that they received information from an informer that women are called to PG hostels in the name of getting jobs, after which they are blackmailed by making obscene videos of women. They were forced to do wrong. The police said they had received information that social media platforms were also being used to trace customers. The rates were fixed by sending pictures of women’s dead bodies on social media platforms.
Prostitution business was going on in the hostel
Prostitution was going on in a hostel near Sahibabad. Police also rescued four women from this hostel during the raid. While informing the police, the rescued women said that they all came here in search of jobs. But they were blackmailed and forced into this dirty work. The police have sent all the women to the hospital for examination. Legal action is being taken by registering a case against those involved in this illegal trade.
The informer informed the police
Giving information, ACP Sahibabad Rajneesh Kumar Upadhyay said that the police received a tip-off from an informant that prostitution business was going on in the AGPG hostel located in Chuna Bhatti area of Sahibabad police station area. Based on the informer’s information, the police raided this hostel with a police team. Apart from the manager of the hostel, the police have also detained four people from the spot in the raid.
Objectionable material found in hostel
During the investigation of the hostel, the police also found four women with objectionable material inside the hostel. The women told the police during interrogation that they had come for work to meet the hostel manager. The hostel manager first made her an obscene video clip on the pretext of getting her work, then blackmailed her into prostitution by showing the video.
