After the massive success of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan starrer Kalki 2898 AD, director Nag Ashwin has announced his next project. The project is currently called Project-S. Arun Guhan of AVM Productions is going to produce it. VM Productions also tweeted about this on X.
AVM Productions wrote in a post on X, “AVM Productions x Nag Ashwin. Associate Directors residing in Hyderabad are required for new projects. Join us.” It is clear from the post that the project is still in its early stages, so the makers are looking for associate directors. Is this project related to Kalki or any other film or series. The makers and Nag Ashwin have not yet released any information about the project.
Nag Ashwin is working on Kalki’s sequel
After the first part of Kalki 2898 AD, now Nag Ashwin is working on his next part as well. Some time ago he said that a lot of shooting of Kalki Part 2 has already been done. He said that the shooting of the second part took about 20 days during the first part. The way the first part ended and people are waiting for the second part, it is clear that the makers also want to bring the film soon. In such a scenario, the talk of releasing the film by 2028 might be wrong and the audience might get to see it earlier.

Nag Ashwin has made few films before Kalki 2898 AD. He directed the 2015 film Yevde Subramaniam. With this he made his debut in film direction. The film featured stars like Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, Malvika Nair and Ritu Varma. After this he directed Mahanati in the year 2018. Stars like Keerthy Suresh, Dilkar Salman, Samantha Ruth Prabhu were seen in it.
