Big Mian Small Mian
Vashu Bhagnani, the producer of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Mian Chhote Mian, has been in the limelight this year due to many controversies. After Bade Mian Chhote Mian’s poor performance, the film’s team accused him of not paying him. Earlier this month, the film’s director claimed that Bhagnani had not even paid his fee of Rs 7.30 crore. In such a situation once again Vashu Bhagana has come into discussion. Vashu has filed a case against Netflix India.
Vashu has alleged that Netflix India has ‘cheated’ him. In an interview to the Economic Times, Vashu Bhagnani alleged that the OTT platform had ‘cheated and conspired’ against the rights of three of his films: Hero No. 1, Mission Raniganj and Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan.
47.37 crore alleged non-payment
Vashu claims that Netflix has bought the rights of his films, but has not yet paid Rs 47.37 crore. However, OTT denied all the allegations made by Vashu. A Netflix spokesperson has officially denied the allegations in a statement to the media. The spokesperson said, “These claims are completely baseless. “Pooja Entertainment owes money to Netflix, not OTT.”
