Bhojpuri singer Pramod Premi
Bihar’s Bhojpuri singer Pramod Premi has been accused of rape. A girl has alleged that Pramod Premi and two others sexually abused her on the pretext of getting her a job in a film. The Arrah police of Bihar have registered an FIR in this matter. An official said the girl’s allegations are being investigated.
The victim herself is a Bhojpuri singer. He has worked on an album of Bhojpuri songs. He has alleged that she got pregnant. The accused beat him. Due to this she had a miscarriage.
The victim made allegations
The victim lives in Udwantnagar, Arah. She told the police that she met singer Pramod Premi while working on a Bhojpuri album. She was struggling in the Bhojpuri industry. On this, Pramod Premi talked about getting work in films. Pramod Premi told her that he will make her a big star. Then both of them started talking. After this we became friends.
The girl said – the singer married her in the temple
The girl alleges that one day Pramod’s lover himself said that he wanted to marry her. After this, on 12 May 2015, both went to Bakhorapur temple and got married there.
The accused beat him mercilessly
The girl told the police that both lived in a rented house in Udwantnagar. Meanwhile she comes to know that Pramod Premi is already married. When he protested, the accused brutally beat him.
Police registered a case
A police officer said that a complaint has been registered in this matter. Police are investigating. Efforts are on to contact Pramod Premi with the police. The girl remains at ease.
