The sweeper delivered
From the primary hospital to the district hospital in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri, health services are on ventilators. The result is that every day there are reports of malpractices from some hospital. In this sequence, a new case has surfaced at Kharai Health Center in Kolaras Development Block on Sunday. A newborn baby has died here due to the negligence of the hospital. Action was taken against the sweeper after getting information about the incident, but this negligence towards one’s life and the hospital is really alarming.
Rani, wife of Ramsevak Ojha, who lives in Pahari village, was in labor pains at 9 am. Rani is 32 years old. Rani’s family called 108 due to unbearable pain. Rani’s health began to deteriorate when the ambulance did not come on time despite repeated calls. Rani’s family members took her to Kharai Hospital in a private vehicle. At that time, the nurse posted at the hospital was missing from there. Staff nurse Preeti Shivvansh was also not in the hospital.
The sweeper delivered
When Rani’s family reached the hospital, they found a lady cleaner there, named Neetu. Neetu took Rani directly to the labor room without giving any information about herself to Rani’s family. Neetu gets Rani delivered. Now what information will there be about the delivery of the sweeper? Neetu did all the work in a jiffy and Rani had to pay the price with the death of her daughter.
Even after calling the doctors, the ambulance did not come
A newborn girl died due to negligence during delivery. Surprisingly, even after the delivery around 11 am, when the doctors called 108 to refer her, the ambulance did not reach the hospital in time. According to CBMO doctor Sunil Khandolia, the ambulance did not arrive on time even though he called 108 to refer Rani.
Ambulance seller said, what harm will you do to me?
After several calls, an ambulance was made available around 6 hours later at 5 pm. According to the doctor, in the meantime he also spoke to Shoaib Khan, the seller of 108 Ambulance, on which Shoaib Khan told him that what harm will you do to me, I am a direct seller of NHM. When 108 is not even available on a doctor’s phone, one can casually guess how an ambulance would reach an ordinary patient’s phone? He says that I have sent a show cause notice to staff nurse Preeti Shivvansh in this regard, appropriate action will be taken after receiving the reply to the notice. The sweeper has been removed. Doctor Parag Jain stationed at the hospital was on leave on the day of the incident as he had a PG paper.
