Prayagraj: Catch a train, travel 1300 km… When mother stops them from playing cricket, children run away from home

Three children of a family have gone missing in Kurakath village of Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj district. An atmosphere of fear prevailed in the entire village as soon as the information about the disappearance of three children was received. After many searches, nothing was found about the children. After this, the family informed the police about the matter. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police team became active and within 48 hours, the children were brought out safely. Meanwhile, when the police asked the children why they ran away from home, the police were also surprised to hear what the children said.

The case is from Kurakath village in Handia police station area. Suraj Yadav, a resident of the village, filed a written complaint at the Handia police station that his three children Shivpal Yadav (8), Ranvijay Yadav (13) and his cousin Ankit Yadav (13) have gone missing from home. A lot of research was done, but all three were nowhere to be found. On receiving Suraj Yadav’s complaint, the police immediately started searching for the children through ‘Operation Muskan’ and ‘Operation Trinetra’. Police formed 6 teams and put up posters of three missing children at different places. Also started scanning the CCTV footage.

Mother scolded him for playing cricket

On Thursday morning, a search team led by Brij Kishor Gautam, Head of Handia Police Station, rescued the three children safely from Prayagraj Junction. The police took the three children to the Handia police station and informed their families. As soon as the information was received, the families of the children also reached the police station. When the police interrogated the children in front of the family, the elder son said that the mother scolded us for playing cricket.

All three children were handed over to relatives

The child, Ranvijay, told the police that the three were planning to run away from home in anger. Thereupon he took Rs 600 from his father’s pocket and went to Handia railway station along with brother Shivpal Yadav and cousin Ankit Yadav. From here the three took a train to Surat in Gujarat, but from there they returned back to Prayagraj. These children were again found by the police from Prayagraj station. ACP Handia Pankaj Lavania said the children are safe. The children have been handed over to their families.
