Dudheshwarnath Temple, Ghaziabad
Market sweets will no longer be offered at the famous Siddheswara Nath temple in Ghaziabad, adjacent to the national capital Delhi. The Bajrangbali of the chaupla of the same peeth will no longer be offered from the market as prasad. Rather, fruit, coconut, gram, jaggery and tar candy will be offered as prasad in both these temples. The temple management has made this change due to the Tirupati Ladoo controversy. In this regard, Narayana Giri, Mahant of the temple and National Spokesperson of Panchadasanam Juna Akhara, has issued an order. Along with this, he has also appealed to the devotees to cooperate in this arrangement.
Appealing to the devotees, he said that Lord Shiva and Hanumanji are dear to us and we cannot serve them any contaminated food. Now that the case of Tirupati Ladoo has become heated, the fear of adulteration in the sweets available in the markets here cannot be ruled out. Mahamandaleshwar Narayan Giri has requested the devotees that after today no devotee should offer sweets from the market in the temple. He has also suggested some options for offering food to God.
Prasad stated this option
It is said that if the devotee wishes, the bhog prepared at home can be offered to the Lord in a pure and holy state. If this type of prasad is not possible then devotees can bring fruits and flowers along with sugar and coconut from the market and offer them to both the temples and by doing this the Lord will surely be pleased. He has specifically appealed to offer coconuts along with fruits at the Dudheshwar Nath temple, while he has been asked to offer jaggery, gram and tar candy to Hanumanji of Chaupala. Along with this appeal, priests have also been instructed to strictly implement this system.
The Tirupati Laddu controversy has heated up
Let us tell you that currently Tirupati Ladoo controversy is very hot. Recently, it was reported that ghee made from lard is supplied in Tirupati and laddus made from this ghee are given to devotees. In the consecration ceremony of Ram temple, ladles were also sent from here. After the matter turned serious, the Tirupati Trust changed the ghee supplying agency, but now there is a demand for action against the culprits. Shankaracharya Avimukteswarananda Saraswati of Jyotish Mutt even said that there could be a big conspiracy behind this incident.
