Delhi’s AIIMS flooded

AIIMS was also affected by the pre-monsoon rains in Delhi. Not one or two but nine operation theaters of Delhi AIIMS remained closed due to rain. Dozens of surgeries were affected due to closure of operation theatres. Especially the patients who were going for surgery had to face difficulties. Neurosurgery operation theaters had to be closed from morning to six pm due to power cut.

The trauma center of AIIMS is in a bad condition. Surgery has not yet started there. The AIIMS administration has claimed that they will provide information as soon as the surgery begins. In fact, the ground floor of the AIIMS trauma center was flooded, forcing the power supply to the entire building to be shut down. Operation theaters remained closed due to lack of electricity. The store room of the hospital was also filled with rain water.

A statement has been released by the hospital, saying that hospital services will be disrupted. AIIMS, in its statement, said that patients requiring emergency surgery should go to Safdarjung and other government hospitals. Now the question arises that if this is the condition of AIIMS which is considered as one of the top hospitals in the country then what will be the condition of the patients coming here for treatment from different states.

Delhi flooded

Rains in the national capital yesterday disrupted normal life. Five people have also lost their lives in rain-related incidents. Monsoon made a thunderous entry early in the morning, which Delhi could not withstand and was completely destroyed. People going to office had to face a lot of trouble. Roads were submerged in water in many areas and houses were flooded. The first rains of the monsoon exposed the pole of the administration. Politics also got heated over that. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Bharatiya Janata Party are blaming each other.
