During the first monsoon rains, a big pothole fell on Ayodhya’s Ram Path.

Ayodhya is again in discussion across the country. But this discussion is not about Ram Mandir. There is news about potholes and waterlogging in Ayodhya. Due to the rains, the most famous roads of Ayodhya have become potholes. These potholes were filled in haste but new potholes are emerging with every rain. Due to these potholes on the Rampath, questions are being raised about the development works in Ayodhya. The Abhishekam of the Ram temple was held on January 22 this year.

Ram Path has been constructed to reach the Ram temple from Saryu river in Ayodhya. About a dozen potholes have fallen on this 13 km long road due to rain. From the Parliament complex to the road, questions began to arise on this. So now investigation after investigation has been started. Ayodhya Commissioner Gaurav Dayal and DM Nitish Kumar went to the spot and inspected the potholes. After the investigation, the commissioner has ordered an investigation. A committee consisting of experts and officials has been formed for this. The committee has been asked to complete the inquiry within 15 days.

Why potholes in the ramp?

The Ayodhya administration claims that there was no wrongdoing in the construction of the road. Commissioner Gaurav Dayal says that the Rampath has been constructed as per standards and with quality. Commissioner Dayal says that there is an area in Rampath where the sewer line was laid. Pits have fallen at some such places.

Pits in some places

Dayal claims that around 5,500 drains have been constructed across Ayodhya, but only a few places have had problems with potholes due to rains. Bhuvan Infracom Pvt Ltd of Gujarat was awarded the construction of sewerage in Ram Path. According to the UP government, this contract was worth Rs 844 crore. Three engineers of Jal Nigam have been suspended after making the pit.

A clean chit to the company that made the Ram Path

According to the Ayodhya administration’s claim, the company building the Ram Path has got a clean chit. So in such a situation why three engineers of PWD were suspended is the question. The contract to build the Ram Path was awarded to R&C Infraengineers Pvt Ltd. This company belongs to UP.
