Controversy during Delhi University Voting
Voting for student union elections is going on in North and South campuses of Delhi University. During this poll, there was a fierce fight between teachers and members of NUIS. A teacher is seen telling NUIS members after a while during the voting, while NSUI to DUSU joint secretary candidate Lokesh Chaudhary is seen with his colleagues at the Law Centre-2 located in DU’s North Campus. In the video, his hand is being pulled. Not only that, Lokesh Chaudhary created a ruckus along with his friends.
It is alleged that Lokesh Choudhary went to the booth with Una’s election batch, where when the teaching staff present tried to stop him, Lokesh Choudhary started hitting him. Teacher Name Prof. Anupam Jha, posted in Law Faculty, was on duty as Election In-charge today. Incidents of rape and assault against him have come to light.
Around 1.5 lakh students will be able to vote
This time the voting for student union elections is going on in two phases. 200 pooling booths have been constructed for this. A total of 200 candidates have come forward to contest the student union elections. This time 1.40 lakh students are eligible to vote in the student union elections.

Strict stand of Delhi High Court
At the same time, the Delhi High Court has taken a strict stance on DUSU elections. The Delhi High Court has given strict instructions that elections should be held but the results of the elections will not be declared until the dirt is cleared from public properties.
