Police have arrested a fake female inspector.
In Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, a woman became a fake inspector by wearing a khaki uniform and wearing a star. He began to show his authority. Extorting money from people at intersections, threatening trespassers and extorting money from them became his profession. When people became suspicious, the police were informed. When the police saw her collecting money on four roads, the fake lady inspector ran away seeing the real police.
Police have arrested the fake lady inspector and one of her accomplices. The case is from Gulriha police station area of the district. The arrested fake lady inspector told the police that her name was Rekha Tiwari. He said that she originally hailed from village Jeenapur in Samastipur district of Bihar. He got married in Kushinagar district. He lives in a rented house in Narayani Colony behind the Medical College in Gulriha Police Station area.
A woman colleague made a constable and herself became a sub-inspector
Police said that the fake lady inspector was engaged in a recovery operation on Maharajganj Charrasta along with her female colleague. People reported this to Sarhari police station. When the police came, the woman wearing the police inspector’s uniform started running away. When the police got suspicious, they chased him and caught him. When she was asked for her ID card and also inquired about her place of posting, she could not answer. The police came to know that the woman was extorting money from people by pretending to be a fake inspector.
At the police station, he revealed himself to be a sub-inspector.
The accused woman said that a few days ago she was living in a rented house in Sarhari area. He reached the police station on the recommendation of one of the parties due to a quarrel between the two parties. At the post he introduced himself as a sub inspector posted in another district. During the conversation, when the policemen asked her about the batch, she said that she did not become a sub-inspector directly, she became a sub-inspector of rank after promotion. After that the local people also started doubting her, so she shifted her house to Narayani Colony behind BRD Medical College.
Police arrested
In this regard, SP City Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said that Rekha Tiwari, who extorted money by wearing inspector’s uniform, has been arrested. A case of forgery has been registered against him. His criminal history is being investigated. Bihar Police will also be contacted in this matter and if information about some criminal activities is found then further action will be taken based on the evidence and facts. Information will also be obtained from where he has purchased the inspector’s uniform, star etc.
