The controversial Rajasthan Police SI recruitment exam may be canceled due to paper leak. In this regard, the State Police Headquarters has sent a proposal to the State Government along with the evidence. The government can take a decision on this at any time. Former member of Rajasthan Public Service Commission Ramu Raika has also been arrested in this case. He gave the SI recruitment exam paper to his son and daughter just 7 days before the exam.
Several police officers have also been arrested in the paper leak case. The paper leak case was reported in February. According to media reports, the government may decide to cancel the paper at any time. If this examination is cancelled, the examination will be conducted again and a new admit card will be issued to all applicants.
RPSC SI Exam: How many posts were the exam conducted for recruitment?
The written examination for the recruitment of a total of 859 posts of Sub Inspector in Rajasthan Police was conducted on 13, 14 and 15 September 2021 at various examination centers scheduled across the state. This exam was organized by Rajasthan Public Service Commission.
RPSC SI Paper Leak: The exam was conducted in two shifts
The examination was conducted in two shifts. More than 7 lakh 97 thousand candidates applied for the total 859 posts of Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander. The examination was conducted at 802 identified centers in 11 districts. The application process started from 9 February 2021 and continued till 10 March 2021. Later, the application window for the EWS category was reopened, starting from June 9 and continuing till June 23.
