Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big gift to the people of the state in view of the upcoming festivals. CM Yogi has issued instructions for uninterrupted power supply in the state on the days of Independence Day, Rakshabandhan and Sri Krishna Janmashtami and UP Police Recruitment Examination. 24 hours power supply will be provided on these special days. The notification said that power will not be cut even for a minute.
In the next 15 days of the month of August, power supply will be provided without cut for 9 days in all the districts of the state. For uninterrupted power in UP, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has issued instructions to all discoms in the state. Purvanchal, Madhyamanchal, Paschimanchal and Kesco have been directed by him. On the occasion of Independence Day on August 15, power supply will be provided without cut in the state. Apart from this, due to Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami on August 19, instructions have been given to provide uninterrupted power supply on August 26 and 27.
Along with this, in view of the UP Police Recruitment Exam, instructions have been given to provide uninterrupted power supply even on the exam day. For this, instructions have been given to ensure uninterrupted power supply on August 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31. Electricity is being provided as per the roster in Uttar Pradesh. Under this, 24 hours power supply is being provided in cities, 6 hours power cut in rural areas and 2.5 hours power cut in Tehsil headquarters and Nagar Panchayat headquarters. In the summer, power supply was disrupted in the state. People were disturbed due to heavy power cuts in rural and urban areas.
