Hockey player Rajkumar Pal won bronze medal in Paris Olympics.
Indian hockey team player Rajkumar Pal, who returned home to Gazipur after winning a bronze medal in hockey at the Paris Olympics, received a grand welcome. Rajkumar Pal said that he talks to his mother before every match. It gives them energy. As soon as he reached the stadium in his village Karampur, he touched the feet of Mother Manraji Devi and took her blessings. After this the medal was placed around the mother’s neck. Both mother and son got emotional after hugging each other and then took out their mobile phones and clicked a photo with the mother. After an emotional moment, Rajkumar awarded the medal. Put it on a photo of Tej Bahadur Singh and then said that he will change the color of this medal in the next Olympics.
Elated by his welcome at Parampur village, Rajkumar Pal said that one can achieve success only through discipline and time management. We have to understand how much time we can play our game at our best. We should keep practicing until we are satisfied with ourselves. You should focus on your shortcomings and overcome them after consulting your trainer.
Hockey was played with bass sticks
Rajkumar Pal said that when he regained consciousness, his two elder brothers Raju Pal and Jokan Pal Meghbaran Singh were playing hockey at the stadium. Seeing him, he also started trying to play hockey with a bass stick. Seeing the dedication of the prince, his brothers and Thakur Tej Bahadur Singh held a hockey stick in his hand and started making him proficient in hockey. Rajkumar said that today it is because of those people that he has reached the Olympics and won a bronze medal.
