The pole fell within six months, the councilor complained to the Ayodhya Municipal Commissioner
Corruption in the development of Ramnagari Ayodhya is gradually coming to light. First the Rampath caved in, then the pillars worth crores of rupees spent on the beautification of Ayodhya’s roads collapsed and the decorative lights installed to beautify the city were stolen. The cases of corruption in the development of this city do not stop here, counting from the beginning the list is very long. Since the recent issue has arisen, we will discuss here at least five cases regarding which the atmosphere has heated up in the Ayodhya Nagar Nigam.
With the Supreme Court order opening the way for the grand temple of Ramlala, the state and central governments opened a minefield of development plans in Ramnagari. Plans were brought in which if there was no corruption, Ramraj would have surely come to Ayodhya. But there have been allegations of corruption in all these schemes. All these schemes are constantly being discussed in the Ayodhya Municipality. However, no concrete action has been taken on any of the plans till date.
Earlier in the rain, water was dripping in the temple
Let us begin with the construction of the temple itself. When the first monsoon rain fell in Ayodhya, water started dripping from the roof of the Ram temple. The rain water had also reached the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. The issue was raised by the head priest of the temple and there was a lot of politics over the issue. The ramp connecting the Ram temple with the main road was also washed away in this rain. In this context many councilors of Ayodhya Nagar Nigam named a particular company and accused it of corruption.
