Former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf is going to be completely erased from Indian soil soon. Parvez’s family’s land still exists in a village in UP’s Baghpat district, which the administration has already declared as enemy property. Now soon the process of auctioning that land will be completed. At present the auction will be for half the land, after which the remaining land will also be auctioned.

Kotana village is located in Baraut police station area of Baghpat district, this village is Musharraf’s ancestral village where his family still owns land. The administration had long ago declared this land as enemy property. Its auction process has been started which will be completed by September 5. Pervez Musharraf’s father Musharrafuddin and his mother Begum Zareen were residents of this Kotana village. Both of them got married here. After this both moved to Delhi and settled down.

The family started living in Delhi

After this, Musharrafuddin and Begum Zareen moved to Delhi from Kotana. Both had bought immovable property there. Musharraf and his younger brother Javed were born after Pervez Musharrafuddin moved to Delhi in 1943. The land in the name of Pervez Musharraf has already been sold here. However, about 10 bighas of land was left for Pervez’s brother Javed Musharraf and other family members.

Now the land will be in someone else’s name

There is also a mansion in Kotana which is named after his cousin Humayun. The administration had declared Pervez Musharraf’s brother Javed and his family’s land as enemy property 15 years ago. Now the auction process is going on. Parvez’s family lands are registered in Bangar and Khadar.
