Drug prescription viral
A doctor’s note from a hospital in Satna, Madhya Pradesh is going viral. The doctor wrote such a prescription that everyone from the patient to the drugstore became worried. Druggists tried to read the prescription several times, but could not read it because of the strange writing. Now notice has been given to the doctor.
Rogi Kalyan Samiti is a community health center in Nagode, Satna. Here a patient came to the hospital complaining of body pain and fever. Here he met Dr. Amit Soni in the OPD. After this, Dr. Amit Soni wrote the names of the medicines on the prescription. The patient went to the druggist with this prescription, but no one could read the names of the drugs.
He sent a notice to the doctor and asked for his reply
The patient’s name is Arvind Sen. He is a resident of Rahikwada village. When the pamphlet went viral on social media, the CMHO took notice of the matter and issued a notice to the doctor seeking his reply. The doctor is asked why he wrote the prescription in a handwriting that made it difficult to read.
Crooked lines on paper
According to a pamphlet going viral on social media, the patient went to the hospital on September 4 for treatment. The patient is said to be 46 years old. Except for the two words ‘W and 255’ written by the doctor on the prescription, the rest are garbled. It is written below that this form will be valid for seven days. This hospital is govt. No money was charged to the patient for this prescription.
This hospital is in Nagod
People from many surrounding villages come for treatment at the community health center in Nagode. Free treatment is provided in this hospital. Dr. Amit Soni is stationed in this hospital. The High Court has also expressed concern over illegible signatures written by hospital doctors. The Orissa High Court while hearing one such case said that doctors should write prescriptions and other reports clearly or in large letters (which everyone can read).
