A dead body of a youth preparing for UPSC has been found in bushes in Mukherjee Nagar area of ​​North West Delhi. The police are considering it a suicide in the initial investigation, but no suicide note has been found yet, making it difficult to say whether the cause of suicide was study stress or something else. Police say that the youth was missing for the last ten days. After receiving information about this, the police launched a search for him and his body was found in the bushes on Friday.
Police say that there are bushes near the Dussehra ground in Mukherjee Nagar area and the youth committed suicide by hanging himself in those bushes. Currently, the police is investigating the entire matter. Police say that the youth is originally from Rajasthan and was studying in PG here.
The youth had passed the prelims
After the youth’s death, the police searched all the CCTV footage in the vicinity, but found nothing. Police suspect that the student committed suicide. The youth’s father C.L. Meena told the police that her son had come to Delhi in July to prepare for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) main examination after clearing the preliminary examination. Meena’s father said that he called home every evening and the last time he spoke to his family members was on September 10.
The call did not come until 13th September
He said that when his son did not get a call till September 13, he reached Delhi and started searching for his son. C.L. Meena also went to the PG’s house where her son was staying and the young man staying in the room with Deepak said that his son had not returned for two days. After this he lodged a complaint at Mukherjee Nagar police station.
During the search, Meena’s body was found in a forest near the institute in which she was studying. The officer said it is suspected that he went to the forest after the class. He said Meena’s bag was found hanging on the same tree and no suicide note was found.
