PAK screenwriter Khalilur Rahman Qamar caught in honey trap? Went to meet the woman at half past five in the morning, got kidnapped

Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, Pakistan’s famous screenwriter and often controversial for his statements, was kidnapped last week. The news of his abduction created a sensation. It was claimed that he was robbed and tortured after his abduction. Today, he held a press conference in this matter and gave information about the entire incident.

According to the FIR registered in Lahore in this case, Qamar received a call from an unknown number at midnight. The caller identified herself as Aam Uruj and said that she was a big fan of Kamar and wanted to work with her in a TV drama. Kamar agreed to meet him. He went to meet at the given address at around 4.40 am, where he met Uruj. Soon after this, seven armed people entered the room and snatched 60 thousand rupees, iPhone 11, ATM card etc. from his waist.

According to Pakistani news website Dawn, apart from this, the FIR also states that armed men withdrew Rs 2 lakh from his different accounts. The kidnappers told Qamar that they had received orders to kill him and demanded Rs 1 crore (Pakistani rupees) as ransom.

What did Khalil-ur-Rehman say?

Khalil-ur-Rehman narrated his ordeal at a press conference. Meanwhile, he also explained the reason for meeting a woman around 4 am. Qamar said that doctors have forbidden him to go out during the day due to health reasons. Qamar said, “I am sick and my doctor has instructed me not to go out during the day for the last five years. Even if they say no, I still meet people at night and you can’t differentiate between men and women in this matter. Then why do I mind meeting that woman early in the morning? Because this incident happened at 4.40 am.

Qamar said he was not ready to leave for the night when he got the call. He said that the woman had been bothering him for the last 15 days to meet him. During the press conference when a reporter asked that the woman claimed in her statement to the police that you and the woman had been talking through messages for a week and pictures were also sent? So Qamar denied the allegations and said that Uruj wanted to work on his TV drama and he no longer had the record of the message.

In this case it is said that Qamar got caught in a honey trap. During the press conference, he probably responded to this and made offensive statements about women. He said, “The girls in my field, the way they dress and the way they talk, I have been observing these things for the last 27 years. These things are not new to me.” Meanwhile, he also claimed that he did not know that the woman would be alone at home.
