Dogs are bred to be the most loyal household animals. Whether guarding against thieves or watching over a home, hardly any animal takes care of it better than a dog. One such case has come to light from Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain, where a dog found its owner’s dead body on its own. A person died after drowning in Gambhir river in Surajkhedi of Unhail taluka. As soon as they got information about the drowning of the person, the villagers tried to find him, but the person was not found.

When the villagers got tired, they called the SDRF team to search for him. Divers from the SDRF team tried their best to find the person who drowned in the river Gambhir, but still there was no trace of him, so there was no way to find the person now. The person’s pet dog beckoned several times, but no one paid attention.

Kharol’s shepherd Bagdiram Nagu drowned in Gambhir river. Now all who tried to find him were defeated. In such condition, Bagdiram’s dog stayed with him for a long time. While everyone was searching for Bagdiram’s body near the river Gambhir, his beloved dog kept pointing in one direction. At that time, the people present there could not understand his gesture, but the next day, seeing the same behavior of the dog again, people paid attention to his gesture and Bagdiram’s body was found from the same place. Eventually her pet dog helped her find her body. Bagdiram’s body was sent for postmortem.
