Swanand Kirkire mourned the demise of singer Hania
Famous Pakistani singer Hania Aslam passed away on August 11, Sunday due to cardiac arrest. Haniya was part of the famous Zeb-Hania duo. This news has shocked everyone including the famous faces of Bollywood. Indian lyricist, playback singer and actor Swanand Kirkire has mourned Hania’s death. He said that the two were working together on an album, which now remains unfinished.
Zeb-Hania is a famous musical duo, one of whose members passed away on Sunday night. Hania’s death was due to cardiac arrest, Hania’s musical partner Zeb Bangash announced via his social media. Commenting on Zeb’s post, Swanand Kirkire expressed surprise and said “WTF… what happened? OMG”. He said Hania and I had a special bond, she was the purest soulful person I had ever met.

Swanand Kirkire shared his grief over Hania’s death with people through a story on Instagram, he wrote in his post that my dear Hania is no more, this is not right, rest in peace. He said that the two were also working together on an album, titled ‘Kaho Kya Khayal Hai’. The two were working together on this song, they said we had an unfinished album we were working on together.

Along with this post, he also shared a screenshot of his and Hania’s last chat and wrote that I am sharing a screenshot of our last chat, in which both were seen caring for each other. Along with this, he also wrote a message to Zeb at this sad time, in which he expressed his desire to hug Zeb and his family at this sad time and said that God gives you and your family strength to overcome this pain. Hania, we may meet somewhere else someday, but until then, your sweet voice and guitar will ring in our ears, reminding us of the loss of you.
Commenting on the message, Zeb thanked her for giving her such love and wrote, “Love you Swanand and he loves you too, really.” Apart from Swananda, Hania’s death came as a surprise to others as well. Kiran Rao also expressed grief by commenting on Swanand’s post.
