Big action by ED again in Jharkhand

Rich in water, forest, land and natural resources, the state of Jharkhand is in the limelight not only for its precious minerals but also for the many corruption and scams and the mountains of currency notes found during raids. Recently, on May 6, the ED raided the house of Jehangir Alam, the domestic assistant (servant) of Jharkhand’s then rural development department minister, Jahangir Alam, before it even cooled yet another matter came to light.

The ED team raided the house of land dealer Kamlesh Kumar while investigating a land scam case in capital Ranchi. Meanwhile, Rs 1 crore cash and 100 live bullets have been recovered. The ED raided the Aster Green apartment of land dealer Kamlesh Kumar at Kanke Road, Chandni Chowk, Ranchi. Meanwhile, ED has seized one crore rupees in cash and 100 gun bullets from the whereabouts of Kamlesh Kumar. The ED team is interrogating the dealer in connection with the large amount of cash and pills.

Kamlesh Kumar was the first journalist

Kamlesh Kumar has also worked as a photographer (journalist) in a media organization in the past. Gradually, his contacts with some officials and leaders increased and then using his influence, he obtained invaluable assets worth crores of rupees by manipulating the documents of many lands. In the year 2021, Ranchi police arrested Kamlesh Kumar in a land case and sent him to jail. Continuous action is being taken in the matter of land scam. The team of the Directorate of Transformation found several important evidences against Kamlesh, on the basis of which the action was taken today.

Kamlesh is a resident of Jamshedpur.

Land mafia Kamlesh is originally a resident of Jamshedpur, but for the past he was living in his house at Cheshire Home Road, Kokar, Ranchi, while his other residence was Aster Green Apartment at Chandni Chowk, Kanke Road, where the raid was conducted today. During this, one crore cash and 100 live bullets were found. Former state chief minister Hemant Soren also came under the ambit of ED proceedings in the land scam case. After a long interrogation, a team from the Directorate of Transformation arrested him on the night of January 31 in a land scam case. After this, Hemant Soren is lodged in Birsa Munda Central Tax Jail, Hotwar, Ranchi.
