The Yamuna Expressway Authority on Friday launched a demolition drive to widen the Yamuna Expressway to Vrindavan route in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura. Under which many famous dhabas, restaurants and hotels were demolished. The demolition drive of the Yamuna Expressway Authority administration has created panic among the people. The government is constructing and widening the Vrindavan to Yamuna expressway. Due to widening, many buildings including hotels, dhabas and restaurants coming in JD are being demolished.
Under the campaign, the authorities have bulldozed popular dhabas and restaurants on the road leading to the Yamuna Expressway. The action of the authority created a commotion among the hotel-Dhaba-Restaurant managers. A crowd of people stood at the spot during the encroachment proceedings. Locals said they were not given any notice before this action. He said that no information was given in advance. Locals alleged that they were informed only 5 minutes ago.
Local people made allegations
It is alleged that when the administration had to take action to remove the encroachment, they had to give notice first. Meanwhile, local man Rahul said that we have just been told to remove all this and the shop after two days. People said that officials have told them that if they do not remove their shops, they themselves will be held responsible. The authorities will again take action to remove the encroachment from this place after two days.
Action against uncle’s dhaba also
Let us tell you that the famous Mama’s Dhaba of Mathura located in this street has also been burnt with bulldozers and the banners and hoardings outside it have also been removed. Meanwhile, many people were gathered at the place. Along with this, strict security arrangements were also made for the proceedings of the authority.
