Prayers were offered for PM Modi at the shrine of Khwaja Gharib Nawaz in Ajmer. At the same time, 4000 kg of vegetarian langar was prepared in a big cauldron kept in the dargah. It was distributed among the poor.

4000 kg of vegetarian langar food was prepared in the big cauldron of Ajmer Khwaja Saheb Dargah in commemoration of the 74th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Seva Pakhwada. It was made from rice, ghee, sugar and dry fruits. It was cooked all night long. A large cauldron was gifted to Dargah Sharif by Mughal Emperor Akbar.

Vegetarian langar made in a big pot

On September 17, PM Modi’s birthday, prayers were offered at Khawaja Gharib Nawaz’s dargah for his long life. At the same time, a langar was organized by Indian Minorities Foundation and Chishti Foundation of Ajmer Sharif. Giving information, Head of Ajmer Dargah Syed Afshan Chishti said that on the occasion of PM Narendra Modi’s birthday, Badi Deg Langar was organized at the Dargah under the auspices of Khudme Khwaja by Indian Minority Foundation and Chishti Foundation under Seva Pakhwada. .

He said that this is the first time that such an event has been organized at the Ajmer Dargah on the occasion of the birthday of an Indian Prime Minister. Mehfil-e-Sama Qawwali was also organized on this occasion. Sufi kalam was presented by the dargah royals.

Mughal Emperor Akbar introduced

A large cauldron was gifted by Mughal Emperor Akbar, where vegetarian langar was prepared on PM Modi’s birthday at Khwaja Gharib Nawaz Dargah in Ajmer. After conquering Chittorgarh, Emperor Akbar gifted this cauldron to the Dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti. This kadai is very big and can prepare about 80 maunds of langar at once. It is also known as the largest ship in the world. Langar made in this kadai is vegetarian and is prepared from rice, milk, sugar and dry fruits. This cauldron is used especially during Urs.
