Even before this, Somi Ali had given his message to the Bishnoi community on this issue. In May 2024, he said during an interview that if you’re trying to kill someone or point a gun at them, you’re overstepping your bounds. I don’t support hunting as any kind of sport, but what happened happened a long time ago. Salman was young in 1998, I request the head of the Bishnoi community to forget this and move on. I apologize on behalf of all of you for the mistake they made, please forgive them.
In fact, the day after Baba Siddiqui’s death, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility through a Facebook post. Salman Khan, we don’t want this war, said the post. We have no enmity with anyone, but anyone who helps Salman Khan and Dawood Ibrahim should watch his account.
