A youth died of snakebite on his birthday in Maharashtra’s Buldhana district. The young man went out with friends on his birthday. During this time, his snake friends asked him to take a photo with the snake on his birthday. On the insistence of his friends, he agreed to be photographed. As soon as he caught the snake in his hand, he bit it. Two of his friends rushed him to the hospital, where the young man died during treatment. The police have registered a case against both the friends.
The case is from Chikhli police station area. Santosh Jagdale (31), a resident of Gajanan Nagar in Chikhli, had his birthday on 5th July. Santosh’s birthday was first celebrated traditionally by his family and relatives. Then the birthday was celebrated by cutting the cake. On the occasion of Santosh’s birthday two of his friends came from Gajanan Nagar. Both friends ask Santosh to go out and celebrate his birthday. Santosh went out with them at the request of both friends.
Was taking photos with poisonous snakes
During his birthday celebrations, one of Santosh’s snake-friendly friends tried to put a poisonous snake in Santosh’s hand on the pretext of taking a photo. On the advice of his snake friend, Santosh took the poisonous snake in hand, but the snake bit Santosh’s hand. After this the two friends took him to the hospital for treatment, but Santosh died due to the snake venom spreading in his body. Due to this incident, a mountain of grief fell on Santosh’s family.
A crime was registered against both the friends
Based on the complaint filed by Santosh’s father, the police have registered a case against Arif Khan and Dheeraj Panditkar, two friends of Sarap Mitra. It is said that Santosh’s friend Arif Khan is a snake lover and always keeps different types of snakes with him. Both Arif Khan and Dheeraj Panditkar are absconding after registering a case with the police. Currently, the police are busy searching for both.
