Omar Abdullah and Vicar Rasool Wani
Assembly election bugle has sounded in Jammu and Kashmir. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people regarding the elections to be held after 10 years. All political parties have started campaigning vigorously. The National Conference and Congress are contesting the elections in the state together. Meanwhile, rhetoric has escalated between NC vice-president Omar Abdullah and former Congress president Vikar Rasool Wani. Omar has lashed out at Wani.
Omar Abdullah reached Banihal on Wednesday, where he had arrived to campaign in support of party candidate Sajjad Shahin. Meanwhile he hit out at the Congress candidate from Banihal saying that before the election he had decided that he would not speak anything against any Congress candidate, but Vicar Rasool Wani forced him to speak about him without any hesitation.
Omar attacked the Congress candidate
The National Conference leader said that he could not understand ‘if our flag is bad, if Wani said that the red color of our flag has become red by squeezing people’s blood, if our habits are so bad, Sheikh Wani also did not spare Mohammad Abdullah. . If all of us have so many faults then first Wani should tell those who stood with me 2 months ago when I came here to Banihal, Doda, Kishtwar and campaigned for Congress.

Wani targeted the National Conference
In fact, during a rally in Banihal on Sunday, Congress candidate Wani targeted the National Conference and accused them of exploiting the people of Banihal. He said that the red color in the flag of his party (National Conference) symbolizes the blood of the people.
‘What fault did Vani find in us?’
The former CM said that Vani was praising me then, today he should tell the people of Banihal whether he was lying then or he is lying today, because both cannot be true. Umar said that at that time we were all good people, National Conference was good, so today Wani found fault in us.
‘The party did not consider Wani fit for the post of president’
Omar said why the people of Banihal should vote for a person whom their own party does not consider fit for the presidency of Jammu and Kashmir is beyond comprehension. The NC leader said that if Wani’s own party considers him incompetent and relieves him of the responsibility of the state chief before the elections, will he fulfill the expectations of the people? He clearly said that Wani has opened a front against us, so now he will be responsible for whatever happens to his fate.
