The case is of H Block of Sector-12. Here on Friday, the dead body of an 82-year-old man was found inside the house in a decomposed state. The old man was identified as Harilal. When the smell came from the house, the old man’s daughter and son-in-law suspected something amiss and informed the police. The shocking thing was that the daughter and son-in-law of the old woman, who had been living in the same house for four days, were not informed about the death.
The in-charge of Sector-24 police station said that on Friday, the police received information that a foul smell was coming from inside a three-storey house located in H Block. Police reached the spot. If seen here, the door of the middle floor was closed from inside and there was a bad smell. When the police broke the door and entered, 82-year-old Harilal was found lying dead on the bed. The belongings inside the room were scattered. Lying on the cot for several days, the body started to rot and was infested with vermin.

Son lives in B block and has converted. Despite being an old man, Harilal used to cook his own meals. Harilal died four days ago. The family did not come because the door of the room was closed for four days. Currently, the police are investigating the case from every angle.
