Union Home Minister Amit Shah blew the BJP’s election bugle in Haryana’s Mahendragarh. In his 23-minute speech, Shah also targeted former PMs Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi as well as Leader of Opposition in Haryana Assembly Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Shah said that the Congress government was working by looking at the districts, but we are developing the entire Haryana.

Shah also took a jibe at Bhupinder Hooda’s ‘Hisab Mango’ campaign, saying he was the son of a businessman. I account for every penny. Every worker of BJP is ready to give his account to the public. Read what else Amit Shah said in the rally…

1. Congress created hurdles in OBC reservation

The Home Minister said in his address- In the year 1957, a commission was formed under the chairmanship of Kaka Saheb Kalelkar. The objective of this commission was to give reservation to the backward classes, but the Old Grand Party remained silent on it.

If Congress had not stopped this, the situation of the backward people in the country would have been different today. Not only this, Indira Gandhi did not allow the recommendation of the Mandal Commission in 1980 to be implemented. When it was introduced in 1990, Rajiv Gandhi opposed it.

Shah said that today Congress people are trying to be well-wishers of the OBC community, but people recognize their faces.

2. Can Hooda account for nepotism and corruption?

According to Amit Shah, Congress leaders should neither talk about development nor demand an account of it. In the Mahendragarh rally, Shah said that Hooda Sahib, you alone can account for nepotism and corruption.

He further said that when Hooda Sahib was in the government, there were cases of corruption every day, but that is not the case now. The NDA government has given 6 times more money to Haryana than the UPA government. Congress only does caste politics.

3. Congress chief ministers worked only for their districts

During his address, Shah said that when someone from Congress becomes the Chief Minister, he used to work only for his district. Not so in our government. Whoever becomes the chief minister, his aim is to develop the whole of Haryana.

He further said that I want to remind you one more thing. If the Congress government comes to Haryana, they will take away your reservation and give it to Muslims, so stay away from these people.

Meanwhile, Shah also mentioned the reservation given to OBCs in panchayat and municipal elections.

Assembly elections are to be held in Haryana this year

Assembly elections are to be held this year for 90 assembly seats in Haryana, which is adjacent to Delhi. Congress is ruling here since 2014. BJP is again trying to come to power in the state by wooing Dalits, OBCs and upper castes. The OBC community constitutes about 42 percent of the population in Haryana.

The upper caste community constitutes 12 percent of the state’s population. Apart from this Dalits are about 21 percent and Muslims are 4 percent.
