Assam CM and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed concern over Bangladeshi infiltration in Assam and West Bengal. During a press conference in Ranchi, he said that changing demographics is a big issue for me. Assam’s Muslim population has reached 40 percent. In 1951 it was 12 percent. We have lost many districts. This is not a political issue for me. This is a matter of life and death for me.
