Early check-in facility with 120 days notice.
Just like booking trains from the IRCTC website, you have the facility to book tickets in advance for 4 months i.e. 120 days. Similarly, you can now book 120 days in advance for travelling on the metro as well. The ticket, once purchased, will remain valid for 4 days as well. Whereas currently the validity of the metro ticket is only for one day. The Metro ticket will be valid 2 days before and two days after the scheduled date of travel. This means that even if you arrive early or late, your money will be wasted and you will be able to travel on the same metro ticket. If for some reason the train ticket has to be cancelled, the metro ticket can also be cancelled along with it.

Metro ticket booking can be done through IRCTC website and app. The ticket once purchased will remain valid for 4 days as well. While currently the validity of metro ticket is only for one day. Changes will be made in Delhi Metro Rail booking system for booking Metro Rail tickets from IRCTC. Metro tickets will be booked using QR code, its QR code will be printed on the train ticket.
