Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed the backward class honor convention in Mahendragarh, Haryana. Meanwhile, targeting the Congress, he raised the issue of giving reservation to Muslims.

Home Minister Shah said that Congress took away the quota from backward classes in Karnataka and gave it to Muslims. He alleged that if Congress comes to Haryana, they will do the same here. But I want to assure you all that we will not allow Muslim reservation to be implemented in Haryana under any circumstances.

Called Congress anti-backward class.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing the backward class honor convention accused the Congress of being anti-backward class. Shah said that the Kaka Kalelkar Commission for OBC reservation was formed in 1957, but the Congress did not implement it for many years. “Indira Gandhi withdrew the Mandal Commission in 1980 and when it was implemented in 1990, Rajiv Gandhi opposed OBC reservation in a 2 hour 43 minute speech in Parliament,” he said.

Shah’s ‘strike’ on casteism and corruption

Home Minister Amit Shah said that Congress has given Haryana nothing but casteism and corruption. Congress governments were formed, corruption reached its peak when one government came, hooliganism reached its peak when another government came.

‘OBCs got respect in Modi government’

Home Minister Amit Shah said that when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister of the country in 2014, he said that this government of mine is the government of Dalits, poor and backward people. BJP has worked to give the country its first strong Prime Minister from the backward class.

Shah said that Prime Minister Modi has honored the OBCs of Haryana and the country by giving 27 out of 71 ministers from backward classes. By giving constitutional recognition to the OBC Commission, BJP has worked to give constitutional rights to the backward classes under the leadership of PM Modi.

Haryana Govt’s big gift to OBCs

The BJP government of Haryana has taken a big decision to help the OBC category. Naib Singh Saini’s cabinet has increased the limit of creamy layer in the state from 6 lakh to 8 lakh. The biggest thing is that salary and agricultural income will not be counted in this 8 lakh rupees. Due to which now all OBC category children in the state will get the benefit of reservation.
