The first video conference was organized by Chauhan with the agriculture ministers of major pulse producing states. While chairing a virtual meeting with Agriculture Ministers of various states at Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi today, Chouhan said that for the registration of farmers, the National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED) and the National Consumer Federation Cooperatives of India Limited (NCCF) will be registered. Through this, the e-Samriddhi portal was started and the government is committed to purchasing these pulses at MSP from the farmers registered on the portal. He urged the state governments to encourage more and more farmers to register on this portal so that they can avail the secure procurement service.
