You have to wear a helmet even on a bicycle
It is said that when clay is raw, it can be molded into any shape. Something similar happens with children. If good things are explained or taught to children at an early age, they become part of their habits as they grow up. Keeping this in mind, the traffic police in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh has adopted an excellent method through which children will learn to obey traffic rules at an early age.
Mirzapur Traffic Police is now going to make helmet wearing mandatory for children going to school on cycle, meaning children going to school on cycle in Mirzapur will have to wear helmet. First the campaign will be started with the children of two private schools in the city, after which the campaign will be extended to the rest of the schools in the city.
Starting from 15th August
This campaign will not only save children from getting injured in accidents but also increase their willingness to obey traffic rules. A good habit will be inculcated in them from a young age, it will be easier for them to wear a helmet or seat belt when they grow up. It is often seen that accidents due to bicycles cause serious head injuries to children. In such a situation they can be saved from these injuries. The campaign will be launched from 15th August i.e. Independence Day.
Rules like dress code will be enforced
At present, this rule has been implemented in two private schools in the city, so this rule will start from here. After this, this rule will be implemented in other schools of the city as well. As per the dress code in schools, every child coming to school on a bicycle must wear a helmet. SP City said that since there are many children who cross the highway to come to school, the campaign is being launched keeping in mind their safety.
