BJP MLA Nitesh Rane
Following Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth MLA Nitish Rane’s provocative statement, his father and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane has advised his son. Nitish had said in support of Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj that we will enter your mosques and kill each one. On this former minister Narayan Rane gave a lesson to his son and said that this is wrong. People of any society are not same. It is not appropriate to make statements on the entire Muslim community.
Senior BJP leader and former minister Narayan Rane said, “I spoke to Nitish Rane in this regard. He has been instructed not to embarrass the entire Muslim community. It is not appropriate to make statements on the entire Muslim community. Talk only about the person who is doing wrong.
The video went viral
Recently, a video of Nitish Rane went viral on social media. In the viral video, BJP MLA Rane is heard saying, “If anyone says anything about Ramgiri Maharaj, we will enter your mosques and kill everyone. Keep this in mind.” He also said that if Maharaj is harmed, there will be dire consequences.
The state’s Ahmednagar district police have registered an FIR in connection with Nitish Rane’s alleged threat to Muslims. It is being said that Nitish allegedly gave this inflammatory speech at two public meetings organized in support of Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj in Srirampur and Topkhana areas. Ramgiri Maharaj came under fire last month for his comments about Islam and Prophet Mohammad.
AIMIM demanded his arrest
Regarding Nitish’s inflammatory statement, a police officer informed on Monday that two FIRs have been registered against BJP MLA Rane in Srirampur and Topkhana police stations.
On the other hand, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) spokesperson Waris Pathan shared Nitish’s video on X and urged Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to arrest him.
Last week, on Congress leader and former chief minister Prithviraj Chavan’s claim that President’s Rule may be imposed in the state to postpone the elections, Narayan Rane said, Prithviraj Chavan is a big leader. Spent most of the time in Delhi. They know when President’s rule is imposed and when it is not. Elections are held when the Election Commission and the government feel that the social conditions in the state are normal. President’s rule is imposed if they feel that the situation is not normal.
