Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that free, nomadic and semi-nomadic people living in the state will be given full benefit of development. Since ancient times, nomads have presented examples of their courage and bravery. The Chief Minister said that the state government will provide full support to the youth and talented people of these castes for their education and career.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Vimukti Divas program at Ravindra Bhavan in Bhopal on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also observed a demonstration organized by the Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Welfare Department. Meanwhile, he also inaugurated the department’s portal Samarth and made many announcements for the welfare of this community.

Declaration of permanent residence

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to declare the nomadic tribes as residents of a place, their place of origin will be recorded. Will assist in preparing necessary records. Along with this, the nomadic and semi-nomadic castes who are currently deprived of the welfare schemes will also be given the benefit of the schemes.

He said that Bhat, Charan, Beldar, Pardhi, Kuchbandia etc. castes will also be given benefit of the schemes. Special arrangements will be made for castes like Kabutari, Kalbeliya, Sikligar, Banchhara etc. Accommodation will be arranged for shepherds, blacksmiths and other castes. Citizens of this caste will be provided with basic facilities like electricity and water while providing the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The youth will be given the benefit of necessary training. Agniveer and other schemes will be taken advantage of. Necessary training in the field of sports will also be arranged.

Promotion of folk culture

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts will be made at the departmental level to propagate the folk culture of these castes and the castes of the society will also be connected with the Geeta Bhavans being built in the cities. Manglik buildings will also be constructed for these castes. A continuous dialogue process will continue for their development.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav also emphasized the need for timely reforms in essential social customs.
