“No entry” of Muslims in mosques.

A sensational case has come to light from UP’s Muzaffarnagar. Since the time of the British, Muslims have been prevented from offering prayers in the mosque in the prison premises of Muzaffarnagar. Now there is ‘no entry’ for nearby Muslims who have been offering namaz at this mosque for more than a hundred years. There was a lot of anger among the Muslims regarding this. After this embarrassment, the jail administration has clarified that the jail premises is a sensitive area. This arrangement has been made for outsiders from a security point of view.

Built in the year 1838, a temple and a mosque were built parallel to each other during the British rule in the Muzaffarnagar Jail premises. In both, Hindus and Muslims living in and around the jail premises have been coming to worship God according to their respective religions for 100-150 years, but now Muslims living nearby have been stopped from offering prayers at the mosque in the jail premises. . The worshipers were turned away from the police post located at the outer gate of the jail itself. The jail administration is citing security reasons behind this arrangement.

Serious charges against the jailer

Local people protesting this move of the jail administration have made serious allegations against the jailer. Muslims living nearby say the jailer mistreated them and threatened to send them behind bars. As he was going to the mosque for prayers, he was stopped by security personnel who told him that the jailer had ordered to stop anyone coming in for prayers. Mohammad Rafi, a local resident, alleged that after this, when he met the jailer, he threatened him and categorically refused to allow him to enter the mosque to offer prayers in the jail premises.

This was the whole controversy

The whole controversy started on Monday night when local resident Divyang Mohammad Fabi Khan was returning from the mosque in the jail complex after offering prayers. He was stopped by security personnel and allegedly told not to return to pray at the mosque on the prison premises. Mohammad Fabi Khan alleged that when he objected to this, the security personnel misbehaved with him. Meanwhile, the jailer also came there and gave him a clear instruction not to come for namaz in the mosque of the jail premises. Fabi Khan has alleged that the jailer also used abusive language and misbehaved with him.

What did the prison administration say?

On the other hand, after the whole matter was raised, the Jail Superintendent while talking to the media said that all the allegations are baseless and baseless. For security reasons only outsiders are not allowed inside the prison premises. The families of the prison staff live in the prison premises. Keeping in mind their security, the entry of outsiders has been restricted.
