A hospital is running in Saurikh area of ​​Kannauj district where people’s lives are being played with in the name of treatment. This hospital has neither beds nor any hospital-like facilities. The matter came to light when the health department team conducted a surprise raid. The health department team was also surprised to see such a hospital.
The hospital was running in a house in Behta Rampur village of Soorikh area. In the name of a hospital, there was no doctor, no staff, no bed in this house. However, patients were being treated. Patients were lying on the bed. People were being given glucose through a drip. The health department team was also surprised to see all this.
The health department team conducted raids
The area was in a frenzy after the information about the raid by the health department team. A doctor was treating the sick, but he absconded after the raid by the health department team. The team conducted a thorough inspection of the entire house. After the investigation, the team spoke to the people who came there for treatment and the families of the patients. However, people were seen avoiding telling much to the health department team.
Deputy CMO served notice
Deputy CMO Dr.O.P. Gautam said that information about the case was received on the basis of which the raid was conducted. He said the clinic was found to be in a very bad condition, being run as a hospital. He said he could not show any documents when asked for documents from the clinic or hospital. A notice has been issued in the name of the person concerned in the case and he has been asked to reply within three days. If no reply is received with documents, appropriate action including FIR will be taken against them.
