Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the country’s budget in the Lok Sabha for the seventh consecutive time. This is the full budget for 2024-25, in which the Finance Minister has presented the ‘Developed India’ blueprint. The government has set nine budget priorities, at the core of which are farmers, employment and the middle class. For this, the government has also announced many new schemes.
This time in the budget, the government has announced many schemes for employment and skill development.
- Establishment of shelters and nurseries for working women.
- Support will be provided to 1 crore farmers for natural farming.
- 10,000 biofuel centres will be created.
- Jan Samarth-based Kisan Credit Card to be rolled out across 5 states.
- Centralized fertility centers will be built to increase lobster production.
- For first-time job seekers, the government will pay one month’s salary in three installments. The limit is 15,000.
