An incident of double murder took place on Tuesday night in Indiranagar area of Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. A minor nephew shot and killed his maternal uncle and aunt. My cousin was also shot there. After committing the crime, the accused absconded. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started searching for the accused nephew. Preliminary investigation revealed that the crime was committed due to intoxication.
Lucknow’s DCP North Abhijeet R Shankar, giving information about the case, said that the incident of double murder took place at 9 pm on Tuesday in Sector-B of Indira Nagar. Rajendra Singh, his wife Saroj Singh and son Shravan Singh were shot dead by their 17-year-old nephew. A police team reached the spot and admitted the trio to the hospital. Doctors at the hospital declared Rajendra Singh and Saroj Singh dead, while admitted their son Shrawan Singh and started treatment.
