The issue of NEET exam is becoming serious in the country. After which the CBI has now taken over the investigation of the NEET paper leak case and has taken strict action. CBI has taken action in several states including Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra. After which CBI has now reached the school in Gujarat to raid.

According to CBI sources, the CBI reached Gujarat on Thursday to conduct raids on irregularities in the NEET examination. The CBI team reached 2 schools in Panchmal area of ​​Gujarat. Both these schools had NEET examination centres. Statements of school principal and staff present on the day of examination regarding paper leak will be recorded.

CBI reached Gujarat for investigation

After the NEET exam paper was leaked, the country’s education minister took strict action and on June 22 handed over the investigation into the paper leak case to the CBI. The next day, the CBI started investigating the case. The CBI is interrogating the accused on remand and is trying to sort out how the papers were leaked.

However, the names of five accused in the paper leak have surfaced during the NEET examination investigation. In which the names of Sanjeev Mukhia from Bihar, Ravi Atri from Uttar Pradesh, Abhishek Shukla from Prayagraj, Shubham Mandal from Patna and Atul Vats are included. Bihar and Gujarat police have registered an FIR in the NEET paper leak case and arrested some of the accused. After which now CBI will reach Gujarat.

Arrested from Patna too

Earlier, the CBI team had reached Patna to investigate the NEET paper leak case. A two-member CBI team along with the Shastrinagar police reached the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) office. EOU has so far arrested 18 people in this case. So far the highest number of arrests in NEET paper leak cases have been made from Patna. Chintu, one of the arrested accused, said that he had memorized the answers of 35 students. After which arrests were also made in Maharashtra.

The result of the NEET exam was declared on June 4, following which there was an uproar. As soon as the result was declared, the issue of grace marks came up. Also 67 students have become toppers, which has happened for the first time. Apart from this, many students filed complaints that the NEET paper was leaked. On which the CBI is investigating.
