Govind Jaiswal, Joint Secretary of the Education Department, is the son of a rickshaw driver. In a press conference organized by Dupriya, Govind Jaiswal said, ‘Considering the possibility of tampering in the paper, we canceled the examination and sent the case to the CBI. We will not hesitate to take action against whoever is found guilty in this case.’ We have taken proactive steps. He said that action should be taken against whoever is involved in this.
Bihar Police has so far arrested 13 people, including four candidates and their families, in the NEET paper leak case. All these accused are residents of Bihar. In the investigation conducted by the Economic Offenses Unit (EOU), 6 post-dated cheques have been recovered from the accused. This cheque was issued last month in the NEET paper leak case. Preliminary information has revealed that more than Rs 30 lakh has been demanded from each candidate. Nine more candidates, seven from Bihar and one each from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra have been issued notices to participate in the investigation.
Who is Govind Jaiswal?

To bear the expenses of his wife’s treatment, the father sold most of the rickshaws. This worsened his condition. When Govind was in the seventh grade, his mother died. Therefore, the father, son Govind and daughter moved to live in a ten by twelve room in the Alapura area of Kashi. Staying here, Govind continued his further educational journey.
