Punjab Police has achieved great success. Nabha jail break mastermind Raman Jeet Singh alias Romi is being brought back to India. Mastermind is being brought to India in an operation by security agencies of Punjab Police at Delhi Airport on 22nd August at 4 pm. Raman Jeet Nabha is a fugitive in jail break case. According to agencies, Ramanjeet was instrumental in the Nabha jail break case, in which several gangsters disguised as policemen reached the jail and broke into a high-security jail and freed 6 gangsters and big criminals.

In the Nabha jail break case, Romi provided money, arms and other logistical support to the criminals. A red corner notice was issued against Romy in 2017, after which the Hong Kong police arrested Romy in 2018 and sent him to jail. Recently, on 6 August 2024, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region issued an order for Ramanjit’s surrender on 6 August.

Success came after 6 years

According to Punjab Police, they were trying to extradite Ramanjit alias Romi since 2018. But the Punjab Police had to make many efforts to bring Romi to India. Punjab Police also went to Hong Kong in connection with this case. Only after 6 years, the police has succeeded in this case. Where the Hong Kong administrative region has now approved Romi’s extradition and the Punjab Police is bringing him to Delhi on August 22.
