Action is being taken against Vasant Geete’s office by the unauthorized department of the Municipal Corporation. Before the action, photographs of the dignitaries present in the office were taken. The leaders of the Thackeray group raised slogans in the name of Balasaheb Thackeray. They protested against this action by holding Balasaheb Thackeray’s photo in their hands. The team of the encroachment department has entered Vasant Geete’s contact office along with the police to take action.
This action has been criticized by Thackeray faction’s district president Sudhakar Badgujar. He said that they are trying to harass each other by targeting each other. This place belongs to ST Corporation. The municipality has nothing to do with it. If action is to be taken against encroachment, then ST Corporation should do it. If the Municipal Corporation faces any problem, then they should correspond with ST Corporation. The corporation has the authority. Geete has gone to court regarding the action of the Municipal Corporation and the hearing is on the 3rd. However, we protest that such action is improper. Since the place belongs to the corporation, the Municipal Corporation cannot issue a notice. This action is illegal.
Vasant Geete said that all this action is motivated by political revenge. The MLA of Central Nashik is furious. The fire of Lok Sabha has reached here. The Municipal Corporation had measured this place 10 years ago and now it has been measured 1 year ago. My office has been here for 35 years. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has also come here. This action is being taken in the political capacity of the Chief Minister. We have gone to the court. Give them wisdom. We are not against anyone. We will respect the decision of the court.
