People troubled by bulls in Prayagraj
Stray animals, especially bulls, have become a headache for the municipality in Prayagraj. In the past, anti-bullying campaigns were launched on a war footing with plans to field PACs. However, this campaign did not yield any significant results and the status quo remained. At present, the condition of the Municipal Corporation in the whole matter is seen to be dire. Now helpline numbers have been issued in Prayagraj to save people from bulls.
Municipal Corporation Prayagraj has written in its appeal that free bulls roam on the streets of Prayagraj. Due to which incidents are happening everyday. Currently 325 bulls are counted in the city. In such a situation, the Animal Welfare Department of the Municipal Corporation has appealed to the residents of the city that if a bull is found roaming anywhere within the limits of the Municipal Corporation, immediately call the helpline number of the Municipal Corporation and report it. Seeking help from corporations and corporations.
Current helpline numbers are 8303701102, 8303701076 and 8303701367. Vijay Amrit Raj, Livestock and Animal Welfare Officer of the Municipal Corporation, says that the bull menace in the city has caused the Municipal Corporation to chew its nose. Every intersection and street is under the unannounced occupation of bulls. The bulls have also attacked and injured many people, in which two people have lost their lives.
The corporation has also demanded a PAC
Municipal teams going to catch bulls and stray animals are constantly being attacked by herdsmen. Because of this, many employees including the livestock officer of the municipality have been injured. Vijay Amritraj, Livestock Officer of the Prayagraj Municipal Corporation, says that in the last one month, there have been 25 attacks on municipal corporation teams that went to catch stray animals and bulls. Herdsmen also attacked him. After which he had to take treatment for 7 days.
what are the rules
According to the rules of the municipality, whenever the teams of the municipality go to catch stray cattle, police force will be made available for them. Municipal livestock officer Vijay Amritraj says that the corporation had repeatedly requested police force for this work but the police force was not made available. That is why no effective action could be taken against illegal herdsmen and dairy farmers. Due to which the Municipal Corporation has demanded a PAC. The higher officials of the PAC refused to accept this demand of the municipality and they did not get the PAC.
