IPS Qaiser Khalid suspended

Senior IPS officer Qaisar Khalid has been suspended in connection with the hoarding incident in Mumbai. ADG rank officer Qaiser Khalid was the Railway Commissioner at the time of the accident. An investigation into the incident, which took place in Mumbai’s Ghatkopar area, revealed that the hoarding incident was due to his own negligence. In which 16 people died. He himself ordered the installation of this hoarding, but he did not consider it appropriate to take the permission of the DG office for this. Maharashtra government has taken action against the investigation report.

Senior BJP leader Kirit Somaiya was already blaming senior IPS Qaiser Khalid for the Mumbai hoarding incident. Not only this, he also wrote a letter to Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to remove Qaisar Khalid from the post. In which he claimed that Ego Media Limited was responsible for the hoarding accident that took place in Mumbai on May 13. He gave Kausar Khalid’s wife a huge amount of money to put up hoardings.

16 people have died

On the other hand, the investigation by the state government has also revealed that Qaiser Khalid had shown personal interest in putting up these hoardings. The DG office was also not informed about installing it. Let us tell you that in this accident 16 people died on the spot, while more than 70 people were injured. This hoarding installed above the petrol pump fell down due to heavy wind due to lack of security system. Due to which the petrol pump was also damaged a lot. Fortunately, the petrol pump did not catch fire. If this had happened, many people would have lost their lives.
